soft rubber Hogue finger groove grips work well for small hands and so do the factory smooth finger groove combat grips if you can find a set.
Thanks Guys! one last question tho! How does an individual determine the type of frame be it K frame or L Frame? On the barrel it does say .357 magnum only, does that matter?

There is nothing in the serial number of any of my guns that I would say indicates frame size...unless of course you are referring to the specific combination of letter and numbers as laid out at the factory and who's precise meaning is known to the factory. However, for most of us, it's experience and or searching the number with the maker.
My Model 19-4 has a K in the S/N.
My Model 66-1 has a K in the S/N.
My Model 29-2 has an N in the S/N.
As for the newer models, you are right, the S/N does not reflect frame size.
I actually don't know, I took them off and looked all over but couldn't find anything to hint at who made them. Just remember that the 2.5 barrel model 19's are round butts (for concealability) where the longer barreled ones are square butt
