If it's getting in the way you should try mounting the sling outboard on your stock and inboard on the barrel, it will keep the sling away from your body.
Now the Cz and the shotgun both have the option for a sling attachment right above the pistol grip, with the Cz having an attachment "mid barrel" at the end of the foregrip and the shotty having an attachment "end barrel" at the bottom of the mag tube (plus the one built into the SGA stock)
I'm pretty much sold on a vickers sling at this point, but what considerations should I be looking at for these other guns that fit differently ?[/IMG]
Yeah I run the BFG padded on all of my rifles, I literally have no interest in any other sling out there on the market, unless doing close protection work or vip/undercover which I don't do so I have no need.
Running it in the house on just the neck -- it allows ducking out of it if it gets grabbed, and also does not tangle me up for leverage if it gets grabbed -- transitions side to side easily - and slipping right arms through lets me get it muzzle down around my back. Still transitions easily to pistol and hangs out of the way.
I run the Magpul MS2/3 slings. I like the idea of been able to go from 1 point to a 2 point setup as needed. I attach the sling on the rear receiver plate on single point and up to the front on 2 point sling.
