Thanks for the advise , I will do the same. Here is the link for the site http://www.ombudsman.on.ca/Home.aspxSo heres the update on my three latest transfers lol. Once they hit four and a half weeks again I decided to call the Ontario Ombudsmen on the advice of a fellow CGN member and good friend. Well it was sure worth the time, I called them and and in about fifteen mins they took my info and started a file. I then recieved a call about a half hour later saying that they spoke to the CFO and my transfers would be completed the following day. So I called the CFO the next day to verify that the transfers had been done and they had not. I then received three email from the CFO the next morning with all three transfers appoved.
Cheers,
Evan

I am curious how this worked as the provincial Ombudsmen Offices do not have authority to investigate the Federal Govt or RCMP. Which the Chief Firearms officers fall under??
Cfo's are provincial units.
I'm in BC, its now on its second week, and still counting...![]()
I was at about week 3 and on some advice i found in another thread I called the BC CFO. They completed the transfer while I was on the phone, emailed me the STATT and faxed it to the store. Don't bother calling the CFC to check the status they just tell you it's with the CFO. Call the CFO directly.
I notice you are in Maple Ridge, your other option is to go there in person. I was working out in Surrey so I did my first one in person. It took about 10 min.
I just ordered a new one on May 29th from Wanstalls in BC. I will let everyone know how long the transfer takes.
