Gold plated sks and other Russian rifles?

I just polished mine. 400 wet emery cloth, black stone, brown, white, blue, then finish it of with the red stone. Takes all day, but its durable and FREE.

If you are really doing this to protect the gun from the elements. Just buy a russian sks and keep it in its cosmoline. Its an sks it will function and it will not rust.
