Push-feed vs CRF

Well you would find a way to dislike it if you had just bought the pf the year before and thought you had bought a dud it took me years to figure out it was probably the best gun i owned. I took most of my game with that rifle before i could afford to replace it then when i did i still used it hunting. By this time i was too involved to change and thought my luck would change for the worse like accepting you come from a bad family but that didnt stop me from buying rifles for target shooting which i enjoy. Which brings me to the win crf a nice fun gun but it will never get a chance to prove itself like my pf

I think he said "I was supect of the classic action that Winchester released in the 90's to replace the poorly though out and underselling PF version on the model 70 that had languished from 1964 until then. Even though the classic was back by popular demand and sales increased afterward, I just adjusted my tinfoil hat and ignored the facts to prove my presupposition that it was a marketing scheme is true. Recently I decided that when desire for instant gratification for something I judged unreasonably is more important than sticking to my unsupported position, and I bought one. And now I believe I am right because of my inability to function simple mechanical equipment and this damn rifle won't receive or feed cartridges backward out of the box magazine due to the fact that the classic action design is just a sales gimmick."

I may have had to paraphrase most of that due to the fact the most of what he said was fricken garbledigook. You work with what you have though.

Krayons............?
I'd play Scribble with yu any day..............whoooooooot.

There are lots of good CRF's and pushfeeds out there.

Sako, Remington, Ruger (mk 1), Vanguard, Howa, Oh and the Winchester post 64 all examples of good pushfeeds.

Ruger M77 Mark I, more commonly referred to as the "M77 tang safety", was controlled round feed with a Mauser claw extractor. Apparently so close to the original design the Mauser 96 extractor can be run in the long action I read on Brownells parts list, listed as the same extractor, never tried it. Overall good post but Ruger didn't make a push feed until this newfangled "American" crap just now.

I personally believe CRF is far better. I can eject slowly into my hand or pop them out 4 feet away; it's all in how I handle the bolt.
Not only that but the action is simpler in the sense it is machined with fewer breakable parts. No weak spots or short cuts; no small springs to weaken in cold and wet humid environments. Just working perfectly 100% of the time.
There's a reason almost all dangerous game rifles have CRF. It's plain more reliable and undeniably a better design. 99.5% of the time it will be the same, but for my money why not bet on 100%.

BTW, this post was really just to inflame others or solicit like feedback. I've given up on the thread dying and each parting ways respectfully.

Need to save this thread.....only one last thing can save....this....

Most crf fans have plumbers butt and dont even care

Said the guy who had to start talking about my butt to finally make his words make sense.
I'd give you a gold star, but I used the last one on the chest of a person that gave themselves a beautiful meatball and noodle crown.
I'm slow clapping for you though, real slow......

Here's one of those heavy CRFs... ;)

This is the exception and not the rule for weight , the big picture Ardent. Now go and test it's accuracy integrity (sans muzzle brake), etc and give us a report. If it shoots maybe I'll purchase one.

My CRF M70 is 7lbs. Light enough. Sub MOA too.
I'd take a fraction more weight for 100% reliability due to superior and simpler design.

Laughing! Funny cause my CRF model 70's are more than likely lighter than most of your push feeds.
