Just got someone at the CFC who knew exactly what was going on. He said CanadaAmmo is selling a ton of these and they have no time to call each one in so they have huge bulk spread sheets. He was a nice guy. Also told me about his friend's Norinco 1911 and how great of a deal it is. :D So sit back fellas. Mine was ordered on April 26 and the transfer initiated on May 18th. They still have no record of the transaction but like CanadaAmmo said, the CFC just assured me they will be getting to it.
 
Just contacted the ontario CFO office. Had to sit on hold for 30 minutes. My transfer has been approved and apparently they have let Canada Ammo know about the approval. Now I just need to get that sucker on the truck.
 
Received my transfer notice May 30th, so I faxed it to Paul at Canada Ammo this morning before they opened.....so hopefully my order will ship out soon.
 
EDIT - NM. Just received the registration cert. in the mail. I'll be faxing this off to CanAm.

Ext. 7503? I've been trying for a couple days and only get a voice message. According to the CFC my transfer was approved and that the email transfer notice confirmation was sent out on the 28th. When I asked for a copy I was told that I need to make this request through my provincial CFO which unfortunately I can't get through to.

CHILL guys! I got both of mine without the CFC even trying to contact me to approve the transfer. If Canada Ammo sends you the email saying the transfer is started, then you just have to sit and wait until the next email that says it has shipped. (There is nothing more that you can do at that point! I was trying to as well, but told to CHILL. :)

Did a complete strip down and wash, now she's ready for the range on Thursday. A few minor scratches on the slide, nothing to hem and haw about though.

Trigger is light, mag release requires a good amount of force. If I gently slide the magazine in, it feels like it gets stuck 2/3 of the way in - with some force it continues on and seats properly. Anyone else noticed this?
 
I think what is going on, is the spreadsheets are at the CFO but if there is 500 names on the sheet and they only got through the first 300 then they have nothing on yours yet, till they get to your spreadsheet and actual gun they don't know about it! This could be it!
 
Yeah baby! Just opened her up. Gun is in great condition. Grips are perfect, slide is tight, trigger isn't nearly as tight as I thought it was going to be. The mag jumps out without much pressure on the release. No chips, finish looks good.

Haven't cleaned her up yet, so this report is raw out of the oily bag :)

I hope #2 is as nice.

The registration from the RCMP showed up yesterday. Gun showed up today. Ordered April 26th.
 
Oh, and the canpar driver showed at the door with the light box. Then said, "there's one more, but she's heavy". I walked out and got it right from the truck... and yes she was a little heavy :)
