Defective Norinco M-93: How is Norinco's Warranty Service?

One of these pistols exploded in my hands sending all the small parts across the floor.
I collected all of them and inspected carefully. Frontier Firearms replaced the gun immediately.
I sold the new, unfired one and won't be buying another anytime soon. There is a reason for that ;)

You had a Colt Woodsman clone blow up like that? Holy ####. Pictures/story?

I have owned 7 of these norinco m93's Yes alot have "light" primmer hits. Simply shim under the spring and you'll have a good solid Hit.
Next...parts a bugger to find. Any dealer that has a broken one for parts can fix you up in a hurry,..if he doesnt have the parts, then your in for a long wait. Some places will just exchange it for another one "if they have one" 3rd.. The parts from a real Woodsman will not work. 4th, watch when you take your gun apart.Taking the top slide is no biggie..but Stop there!! The manual is WRONG...it does not show correctly how every thing goes back together, and its different from the origonal Colt woodsman. I took mine completly apart to "chrome buff it" and it took me and a gun smith several tries to get it back together. Do Not believe the diagram in the manual.!!
here is the CORRECTED diagram.

#19 pin is shown going in the wrong way. It will fit both ways, but wont work.

Story is simple.
It wasn't the faulty ammo.
Probably the pins holding the pistol together were loose and it just went into pieces in my hand.
Something broke inside of the frame as well.
Here is the picture that I've sent to Frontier Firearms after collecting all the parts from the ground.

I owned the real Colt Woodsman.
Not only the parts are different, but the overall quality is simply incomparable.

I recently purchased a Norinco 1911 (with some reservation due to my M93 experiance, but it was a good deaL), I hope the difference isn't night and day.

The Woodsman was a nice pistol while it lasted, if this Norinco one doesn't work out in another month or so, can a Colt Woodsman still be had? I'm not sure if they're still produced.

It does that if you take the grips off. You can reassemble it. There are youtube videos I used. I'll try to find them later.

Grips were fine and in place, I can't really remember the location of the broken part, since it happened a while ago, but I sure can recollect that I was under impression that that part broke when the slide decided to fly loose.
Well, at least that's the way I can remember things now.
I would save some money and buy better quality product if You are after 22 pistol.
Can't complain about the service though - Frontier Firearms went far and beyond.
