I am not saying there is anything wrong with Jinx, I was just asking a question.
Yes.fingers crossed
Give jinx a chance.Hope things go better for you this time around jinx.
Still no post count though...very strange.
Since this is posted in the Newbie FAQ I don't believe post counts increase.
Jinx's only posts have been made in this post therefore, no post count.
You'd really prefer having people inspect you and your home, making a highly subjective call on what you should and shouldn't have and how you live in general? Yikes - give me the phone and paper system anytime. No, not anti-police (work with them all the time) and have nothing to hide (other than my appalling housekeeping) but you should be careful what you wish for...IMHOHow I miss the FAC era. M/F plainclothes officers show up, have a living room chat over coffee's. Look over my storage lock-up. ... "Pleased to meet you Officers, g'night" ... Ahhh, them were the days.

oh if my licence application was determined on my house keeping skills all hope would be lost
Glad you had a good experience back in the day. But times have certainly changed and one never knows who one is going to draw when the appointment is booked or if the specific department in question has a "position" on firearms ownership, storage, etc. Hey, I'd probably be fine, I can banter with law enforcement with the best of them and any thieves would have to dig thru months of discarded clothing/odds and ends before getting to safes, lockers and so on (after defeating the alarm) but it's an experience I'd just as soon skip if I could help it.The times were different. Police and honest citizens shared mutual respect back then. We co-operated with each other ... out of goodwill and trust.
