Saw some Brinks guys and gals the other day with what looked like M&P's. Did a little reading seems they have all gone to the M&P .40.
From what I have read it seems teh CFO has made the decision to what gun caliber ect. So my question to you guys is what differences are there between the M&P the Brinks people get and the ones we buy?
What barrel length do they go with?
What is the Trigger weight?

Thanks guys.

The guy who regularly picks up the money from my store still carries a revolver. It's stainless, and beyond that I've no idea what it is and I'm not risking the consequences of asking. The new guy that occasionally helps him carries an M&P.

You dont have a liscence to ask a question? Better not ask or you might be shot or sent to jail

At the very least I could lose my job. Last thing I need is someone asking why I'm curious about what the guards carry for protection. I work with enough questionably intelligent people who already look at me a little funny because I'm one of only two firearms owners employed there.

Oh the guard might not mind chatting me up, and even though he's pretty chill I still probably wouldn't risk it. It's my own company I really have to worry about. The amount of security we have for a grocery store is ridiculous and it's all aimed at the staff, not the customers. I'm in a position where I have access to the alarm system and occasional access to the cash office so I don't need to make anyone wonder why I'm asking the questions I'm asking.

I only ask because I thought I saw somewhere that the trigger pull was quite high. They make one with a 10lb trigger for some state carry laws.

Cant loose your job over it

anal manager, sure he could....they don't need much to fire, down size or otherwise turf your butt from a grocery store.

FWIW, standard brinks used to be smith M10 in 38 spl, then they began the switch to M&P in 40. they are (as stated) stock with night sights. The guys carrying revolvers haven't been retrained on the M&P yet, but eventually the revolvers will disappear

No one at the Toronto branch is carrying the model 10 anymore the CFO gave them a time line to switch over cause the revolver was prohibited
