Nice vid FastFord58. This (these) will be my first 1911's and first .45's. More muzzle jump than I anticipated but everything new takes getting used to. I'm still in wait and see mode, so mid-to-late June, maybe even July at best for me to go bang.

I am on day 39, still waiting for the "Waiting for CFC Approval" I might call on Monday to see if they know anything yet, not to worried yet.

Ordered April 26, received on June 5 and out last night with fastford58. They shoot amazingly well out of the box for the cost. Put 200 rounds down it with 1 hiccup that was caused by a round that was a dud. Very happy with this purchase.

I am exactly the same. April 26 ordered and May 18 transfer initiated but I am with the Ontario CFO.

......And CFC (QC) just approved the transfer !!!! hopefully I'll get my new toy within 2 weeks!!!!

quick question for the 1911 vets. I've never owned one and want to swap out the gips. some of the one I was looking at say they are for an ambi safety, will they still fit??? the hole distance center of hole to center of hole for the 1911 Standard Profile MUST be 78 mm, is this the case with these 1911???

The "ambi" grips just have an extra cutout on the right side for clearance for a right - side safety lever.

It's not visible, so don't worry!

unless you lied on your application or they find some deep dark secret you should be aproved
i am sure they wont have any problems selling it if you are not
