Chinise 7.62 x 39 non- corosive?

So you are convinced the silver boxed Norinco stuff is corrosive? Anyone else? I haven't opened the crate yet but I will NOT be happy if I paid for NC to get corrosive ammo.

I just looked at my nail test board and the only one that didn't rust was that silver boxed Norinco ammo. Head stamped 71 over 90.All the other stuff is rusting, that's 2 kind's of copper washed case's (Norinco yellow and green boxed) and some East German ammo.

Whew....you had my Irish up for a few minutes...and I like CanadaAmmo so not buying from them in the future would have been really tough. Thanks for the reply.

This is the only stuff I trust not to be corrosive.

I've shot it in my sks a few times with no cleaning and not a hint of rust anywhere.

Now that I trust it I'll just keep checking headstamps to make sure nothing changes but it is certainly non-corrosive.

not sure why the norinco silver box is impossible to find now.... Or barnaul or silver wolf. It seems we jst get crappy surplus ammo in this country yet thye pay the same price for non corrosive wolf and silver bear down south.
