It's been a long,long wait;50 days,but man is she a beut!grips have no cracks,trigger pull is excellent,finish is great!

Oh yea, your order # is only a few away from mine. I hope that means they were both in the same bulk submission and that the CFO has done (first order) mine too. Haven't heard anything yet though.

Yes I know, what I meant was specs, source, price, etc. Have you tried with and without? What is your opinion on noticeable effectiveness, particularly in a rapid fire scenario?

lol sorry buddy didn't mean to sound condescending. I just got it off a buddy so I haven't tried it with/without. I'll try it out next week and post results.

No prob. The main reason I asked was after seeing a couple of vids on here showing more muzzle jump than I was anticipating and also more fire & brimstone out the barrel (maybe just the Norinco ammo, lol). I wonder if any flame projecting upward would interfere with target re-acquisition, especially under low light. ????? Interested to hear your range report.
 
Order 3959185 arrived yesterday morning with ammo and cracked grips. After judicious use of a can of CrudBuster, G96 and grips from a RIA 1911 I used to have, here she is:

I sincerely hope your order ends better than mine did. I also added some products to my combo deal to take advantage of the free shipping. Only received some of the add ons, contrary to the enclosed shipping paper. Still waiting for a response from CanAm... other than the very informative "Yes we got your email" posted 3 days ago. I mean, I understand that they're swamped, but c'mon if you've got the time to post that, then at least include something meaningful
 
Yeah I called and email about a change of address of where it is all getting shipped, which I mentioned in the initial order comments and was assured was not a problem, I also emailed about adding things to my order, no response. But it is a great deal and I am sure they are swamped, so I am just letting it go. I am patient. I don't even have a range membership yet, so I hope I get what I added, if not, meh. I just hope it ships to my house not to where I used to live...

That being said I hope they keep having amazing combos!
 
Within 12 hours of receiving my shipping notification I received the pistol. A long wait but worth it. Just in time for Father's Day (I ordered this one for my dad April 27th). He went and got his range pass last week so now I can transfer to him his first pistol. I added a new set of grips to it from eBay. Here's a few crappy cell phone pics :)

you know at first it was cool, then I compared it to my np-29.. Made me realize just how nice the np-29 is. Once I shoot off my 1000 rounds I can see my self selling the .45 or polishing it like a mirror as a show piece to hang on the wall in the gun room.
