Holy nuts, so about a week ago I picked up my first .22 (yay) and I went with a Savage 64. Got it home, and whoops I need an allan key and a socket wrench. Okay sure, not a problem, I am just spoiled with the easy disassembling Mosin-Nagant. All I am trying to do here is clean off the factory gunk and go to the range, but no, of course not, that would be too easy, I can get the screws for the magazine assembly off fine but the screw behind the trigger and the barrel clamp screw/nut wont budge. Not even a little. Hell I tried using a power drill to undo it, no dice. And it is not like I am trying to turn the damn things the wrong way.
I am getting to my wits end and I was wondering if you guys had any ideas before I have to take it to a gunsmith or something. Maybe I need to hit the gym or something but even the damned power tool wouldn't help. In the famous words of Charlie Brown "AAUGH!"
