And on a sidenote I didn't start any arguement, I just posted a fact.
I asked You to post a fact, but instead You gave us nothing but your opinion.
There is a significant difference between the fact and opinion.
Opinions are like as...oles, everyone has one...and some people are even ready to share theirs.
Time to learn the difference between these two.
Well, if this is so easy, You shouldn't have a problem to present us with one, single evidence of totally worn out Glock 22.
Go ahead.
To particularize is the alone distinction of merit.
After all this is the most popular LE handgun on this continent.
It's time to end this kindergarten BS.
It will probably cost You $30k in ammo to sheared off the barrel lug on Glock.
I'm sure this is a real problem for most of us here.
Thanks for sharing.
Cut it how you want the 17 will outlast a 22, it's only logical, and cost less for ammo in the process.
My math says, that if You need more of the cheaper ammo or less of the more expansive one to accomplish the same effect You still must pay pretty much the same price.
Posting the video from the biggest clown on the internet only confirms your level of the expertise on the subject.
40 S&W has better stopping power, 9mm is easy to control and get back on target.
SF units use 9mm for afew reasons, it is the NATO standard, its easy to get, its easy to shoot fast follow up shots, great mag cap and it works.
Since we live in Canada and can only use handguns for target shooting, I would pick 9mm. Nothing wrong with the G22 but I would rather have the easyier to shoot G17.
That has never been proven, after that fbi shootout, a lot of agencies went over to the promised halo cartridge with the 40, and I have yet see a scenario that got shown where the 40 legitimately demonstrated this much hyped yet never proven stopping power.
Again lets look at the fact. Dimensionally the g22 and the g17 are identical. Or do I need to post you to the official glock website? 40 is a fatter caliber to 9mm, so more material has to be removed. And 40s&w is a high pressure cartridge. 35000psi max SAAMI just like 9mm, only the pistol now has less material to work with, so less material to cope with the same pressure over a larger surface area. Let's use that little lightbulb in your head. It has to less to work with and more to deal with, yes I am totally talking out of my ass. LOL
LOL indeed. If they are identical, then why You need to remove some material from the frame of G22?
Actually G22 is a bit heavier than G17 (645g vs 625g).
If You will ever try these guns FOR REAL, I mean touch them instead of reading about them on the internet, You'll probably discover that magazine from G17 fits into G22 and vice versa.
No material was removed.
The only bulb flashing right now is the BS alarm.

Since you have a "Big Boy" caliber, go with the 17. Save the money on ammo and shoot more often. I love my Gen 4 G17. By the way, how do you like the 21?It's third on my list of next purchases.
Oh aren't you precious the first gun I shot was TDCs g17. And since you know so much perhaps you can tell us the thickness of the chamber is, the the outer diameter subtracted from the inside diameter. 10 bucks says it's thinner.
