I dont recall seeing a comparison photo between the T97 and the Tavor.
I hope this isn't a repost...
And a thank you to the good folks at Reliable for allowing me to photo their guns.
My impressions of the two were that both have a very long first stage trigger pull, the T97 being longer.
The T97 second stage was not too heavy and broke cleanly.
The Tavor was a very heavy pull.
The iron sights on the Tavor seemed to right to my eye, while the T97 seemed to require a bit of head movement and searching around to find the rear aperture.
The fit and finish of the T97 has been debated a lot here. Mostly by those that havent seen or handled it.
I found it to be very good, as you would expect from molded parts. If the mold is good, then the parts coming out should be fine as well. I did not notice any "flash" or ugly seams. (remember when you built scale plastic models and there was that thin line that ran across the parts?)
I have briefly handled and fired one from Lever 5 years ago, and handled (not fired) this sample one twice (Wanstalls about 3 weeks ago,and Reliable today) and am looking forward to buying one.
There were a couple of comparison pics, but yours are better.
I checked it out at Reliable today as well. I was impressed. A nice, compact gun.

I think there is still room to get on first shipment for pre-order.. 
) but WHERE? I'v seen them with approx. $200 price difference.??..& under the Grizzly name as well..(the lowest priced one) Is there a difference/reason for price differnces? Any suggestions where is the Best place to pre-order at this point in the game? Any stores in GTA/Ontario, so I could pick it up when it comes in?

places like canada ammo, wanstalls and frontier have free or flat rate shipping, plus being out of province I think you save part of the tax. I ordered from SFRC as I don't mind paying to support good customer service. Not saying the others aren't good but go with who you know and trust.

I agree with the exception of the sights. I don't mind them, I found the rear sight is much smaller than that on the Norc AR15. But it works for me. Hey I am an average joe doing regular shooting. I can see how it may hamper your ability to run and gun zombie squirels trying to take over your job as a mall ninja but who really cares. I feel its a nice little light gun, Yes, a little short but the workmanship including trigger seem pretty darn good.
HI ,ok, thanks Ryan, I see you are in Ontario, could be a nice road trip, opposed to shipping it, but just wondering, as to your price of $1069, that is on sale from $1199, compared to mostly $999 selling price at all the other stores. Is there anything different/included in your package for the extra $70 higher price difference? Is the shipping included as well? I know being in ONT. I would have to pay the PST & HST.

Thanks for the reply. Guess Ill have to find out why one place has them for $849 listed, under Grizzly? Trying to figure out the price difference...seems allot to me anyway. Guess I'll give them a call.. Cheerz ..~

why no flat top?
Do chinese infantry use IRONS? If not you'd think they would have flat top for this

It appears that it is their standard infantry rifle...charging handle is on the top like a FAMAS.
They do field the QBZ-03 as well, but apparently in smaller numbers.
You pay HST, which is GST and PST combined together. It doesn't matter if you buy out of province any more you don't save anything on tax its all HST in or out of province.
I too would like to have the price difference explained.....
For now I'm going with the cheapest because I trust the retailer to not give me some POS gun so I see no reason to be paying more. Unless others selling would offer some sort of explanation as to the price difference or benefit in buying their firearm.
