MDT TAC21 Chassis for Savage

We are looking at which older models are similar, and what we can do to make a chassis for those. Your feedback on what it needs to fit will send us in the right direction!

Good news for you with the older models. The only real difference is the hole spacing. We found a way to make the chassis work with the older versions as well.

How hard would it be to make one of these chassis work with a trigger guard bolt release?

Looking at the schematics on Brownells. Might also need the sear pin...

Does anyone know a good Savage gun smith here ?

Regarding the trigger guard bolt release. Maybe this info will help. I have JP rifles AMCS aluminum chassis for my Savage 10 fcp-k and my bolt release is by the trigger guard and I did not know at the time it would not fit. I decided to keep it and just had to dremel out some material in the chassis housing. So it now fits and shoots great but I have no way to use the factory bolt release mechanism. I have to either take it out of the chassis or use a little thin tool (I use a long thin allen wrench) by hand to depress the bolt release tab. Like I said, other than that little inconvenience it still shoot fantastic.

by the way TAC21, I live very close to you guys so if there is anything that would help to see my chassis, PM me and let me know.

Please tell me that a there is a chassis that will fit a 111 action in the works! I have the perfect candidate for a stock upgrade that would be amazing in the Tac21 chassis!

It is on the development schedule, but still quite a ways out. Early to mid 2014

Dumb question but will it fit a Stevens 200?
Very good question actually. It should fit. We have someone that took a chassis yesterday and is installing it in his Stevens. Once he is done, you will be able to read about it in your favorite Canadian firearms magazine. I will however let you know once he has reported back to us that it fit no problem!

Order placed #200000197

Cant wait to put on on my 10 FCPK... The only down side is having to take off the stock to remove the bolt... But its the only stock option so far that I like...

Keep up the good work MDT.... Now I need to give a Kidney to Wolverine for some AICS mags...
