If they do come out with a TAC21 for the savage bottom release, there will be a cheap Tac21 chassis for sale on EE... lol...
Let's hope that by the end of January they have something! I really want to keep my bolt release

Well, let's hope they get it figured out.
Anyone know how long Savage has been using the trigger guard bolt release?
Savage 10 FCPK. Lost the ability to remove the bolt, and Had to file down a bit of metal off the bolt release arm to make it fit. Beside that it looks and function awesome. Also I run a rifle basix trigger for all the obvious reasons...
Comes in a 15.02 LBS with ADM mount, scope, mag and Atlas bipod or 11.6 LBS naked.

We have completed our review on this, and unfortunately there is just no way to make this work. We looked at a conversion kit, but this unfortunately will not work either. At this point, we will be limited to the rifles with the bolt release on the side.I received an email today from Maarten at MDT, he says they are working on model of the tac21 for trigger guard bolt releases. He says by late January they may have something that works! So I'll be holding off until we get more news.

Mine works great, I just follow Dilligafs guidance, THANKS AGAIN!!
And now to take my bolt out, I just undo the back of the chassis, one little swing lever, and remove it.. Its pretty easy, easier now that when I had to hold it awkwardly and do the front release lol
TAC21, I am still doing a write up and will send you some pics, but I finally got this together and out to the range last week.
With a simmons $25 dollar 3-9 scope, it took two shots to sight in, and then 7 shots that TOUCHED at 50 yards. Now this was all the space I had to shoot it in at the indoor range at the time, but Hot Damn, You make one fine chassis!

Would like to see a nice write up on how to make it work. I'm not very "fabrication inclined" so I hope it's easy. Stills debating it, since this is my hunting rifle.

Hi Tac21, I would like to know if I need to remove my savage accutrigger prior to installation? Because on YouTube I watched the Tac21 installation on remington 700 and the trigger needs to be removed, however the savage accutrigger seems unremovable compared to remington trigger design. How hard is it to install for a savage rifle?
I want to do this with my 111 LRH in .338LM soo badly! I hope they come out with a Tac-21 for long action savage soon!![]()
Yes, it looks like we will start selling this in August!Yeah... any word on that? Is there a Tac-21 chassis for the 11/111 Long Range Hunter 338 Lapua?
