Mosins and Canadian Tire

Thanks guys for the info regarding cdn tire stores in southern ontario. Heading a little up north in a few weeks and will check some out

mosin like to go onsale, last time they had them in stock they went on sale for $119, and i call the store yesterday and the guy said he printed off some sales signs for both guns and cant remember how much there going to be :)
Is that the yarmouth ctc. the manager in Dartmouth is going to start stocking long guns next year,, they wanted to start now but hard to get enough stock from the U.S.! Good to see more ctc's getting back into it! Before the registry they were the largest volume long gun dealer in Canada!

I really wish there were a Canadian Tire online store :-/

I couldn't believe it when I saw guys out west here on the forum picking up rifles from CT. We're lucky to even have them stock ammo here in NL, and it's only a limited selection, certainly no surplus.

CT in kingston doesn't have any. I've seen SKS's there in the past but not Mosins. However, last time I was in Belleville CT they had both. Just a note on CT website: I am pretty sure they don't list what firearms thy have in stock for any of the stores that sell them. It's too bad. They don't even make reference to selling firearms.

Maybe its time for a drive to speedy creek.........

FYI - they also have Tavors, Norc M305 (M14's), Remy SPS Tactical with 16.5 barrel (223 and 308), every kind of 22 rimfire you can think of, Baikal rifles, Weatherby and a full cabinet of all in one package hunting rifles. I was impressed. I haven't seen that in Canadian Tire since I bought a Squires M16R from them when I was a kid.

EDIT - also have tactical and hunting shotties.

I heard from a kid working at the Abbotsford CT that they were going to be getting a firearms counter in. I think that's pretty neat, the more stores selling firearms, the better, says I.

"...shall not pass into the local Vancouver..." It's mostly due to the requirement that employees have a PAL to work on the gun counter. The paperwork is excessive for most retailers.
