I hate reloading

Sounds like you got all the time consuming work done. I am just as anal weighting my charges as you. I am using the redding BR powder measue and I can usually keep varget with in +-.15. Usually just try and drop it a tenth under and the odd one comes out a little over. It's pretty fast as the varget seems to avg around .02g per morsel. I can count how many needed to drop in the pan from the tickler.

Even if I went with the a Chargemaster I would still want to weigh everything again with my Acculab scale. So the Chargemaster would just be an expensive powder dispenser. I finally got around to weighing out 30 test loads. I know that 46.0 gr of Varget is going to be the load used. I am going back to 155 Scenars this year but have lost all my data on where to seat the bullets for this load. I have 5 of each from jammed to .025" off the lands and need to get out to shoot some groups. With the humidex running in the 40's for the next few days the though of putting on sweatshirt and shooting jacket just doesn't turn my crank.

This procrastinating is not leaving much time to get all my reloading done before all the big matches start:bangHead:

If I was reloading any kind of volume, I doubt I would keep my current single stage press! Progressive is definitely worth it for volume and pistol. I only reload for rifle, and I typically do no more than 60 - 80 at any one time, as it is quite time consuming!!

Where abouts in SW Ontario are you?

Between Chatham and Windsor. I hope to get out tomorrow to shoot some groups to determine the seating depth to use with these bullets. After that, I will have to get into loading mode/mood and production can start. If I can get 50 rounds loaded Saturday, I can confirm these loads will work at 300m on Sunday.
The RCBS Chargemaster is a god-send
So if one was to start out loading 223 what would be the goto equipment for Efficiency, precision & cost.

Get your wife or daughter to help

I would have better luck winning the Lotto Max. Wife did load ammo for me once, best ammo I ever shot, only dropped 2 points over the whole weekend. But that was a one off and only becuse I had work in the shop that had to be delivered the next morning.
Daughter, well that's another story. I busted my butt getting 300 rounds loaded for her for a summer and she promised that she would load some ammo for me to pay me back. Took 3 years to get the pay back.

Maynard you just trying to lure guys over to your house probably Rophynol thier beer.

Wake up tied to a chair! Maynard dancing around in his leathers and funny hat!!

Mid August is our next long range shoot I will pm you details when they become

I would gladly supply the beer once everything is loaded:rockOn:

Aug is a very busy month. Aug 3rd is the ORA Long Range Match, Aug 9,10, 11 is the ORA Annual Matches, Aug 15-24 is the DCRA and Aug 31-Sept 1 is our club championship.
I just hope all my #### isn't piled in the driveway when I get home.
