Reccomended High veloicity air rifle?

If you have the money, I'd consider the option of a pcp gun. There are added costs though, like either a pump or scuba tank and valve.

check out Weirauch 100 s . It's a pre charge . You will not regret that purches . I have one and six of my friends have since bought the same gun after shooting mine.

Weihrauch is extremely accurate . Have had Diana great gun but doesn't compare to Weihrauch. A pre charge has Zero recoil.

You don't want the pellet to go above 950 fps or so, they aren't designed for supersonic flight and will destabilize quickly.

The OP asked for something high velocity and 1000 isn't bad. Le Baron carries a version of the Stoeger ATAC combo which I might pick up.

alot of the airguns take the same parts,
For example: Benjamin classic, crosman phantom,

You can purchase full power, springs, valves, etc
And upgrade them pretty cheaply,
I am going to upgrade my benji classic to a nitro piston
For more fps / quieter, after I finish my 2240 pistol to
2260 hybrid, (turning it into unrestricted rifle)

Phantoms can be upgraded to nitro piston or full power
80 bucks / 40 bucks @ scopes and ammo

I also have a gamo big cat .177 1000 fps lead
And 1250 fps ammo, on the box it claims 1200+ fps
For alloy, which is crap you prolly don't wanna shoot anyhow

I`m looking for something that has a good reputation like CZ firearms have.

HW Weihrauch or AA Air Arms rifles period. I hunt gophers in Sask with airguns only and my air guns of choice have been an HW80 .177, AA TX200HC .177 & .22, RWS Diana 460 .22 and HW 77 .22. I personally like .177 HW80 and TX200HC .177 due to their ridiculous accuracy and wonderful handling once you get the hang of shooting spring piston rifles. 60 yds is my limit and anyone who hunts with a TX, gopher head shots are very doable at that distance. Just my $0.02.

I have an over-tuned Phantom, I wanted something to experiment with. I welded the bled hole, and polished the cyl on a lathe, among other things. It sends alloy pellets at about 1300 fps. I can hit the broad side of the barn with it as long as I'm in the shadow of that barn.

as previously mentioned, it matters not how fast or hard you send a pellet if you can't reliably hit anything with it. For a .22, 800ish is a good sweet spot. I have a Nitro Venom in .22 that I bought for about $150, and then put about $50 worth of tuning into (most of which was a $35 GRT-III trigger that is worth 10x it's weight in gold) it, and I would be happy to have an accuracy competition with any weihrauch or AA gun that cost many times more. Yes, they are great guns (I own an AA in .177 and it really is a great gun), but you don't need to spend that kind of money to get something you can rely on, especially if you are willing to put a little work into it. If you have to just have something you take out of the box and do nothing with, then you're going to pay.

Was going to bump in with my budget high power as well ... lol. I also have the Nitro Venom in .22, put a GRT-III in it and I am very happy with the accuracy and stopping power. With Crossman Hollow Point (14.3 grain) pellets I chrony them at about 725 fps. Accurate as I could hope for what I paid...starlings and tree rats don't stand a chance.
