U.S. Armed Forces do NOT use this caliber. I wonder if they're being directed to dry up domestic supplies of commie ammo, or, are they getting ready to supply their old Al-Qaeda bagmen to kill Christians in Syria... I anticipate they will use their monopoly money to buy up other types of 7.62 x 39mm as well as certain rifles. Sad times we live in. Stock up now if you can afford to.

They use it more than you think. And, 2.5 million rounds is a drop in the bucket for a military order. Even the Canadian Armed forces possess a number of east bloc guns for training purposes and would then have to purchase ammo for that reason too.

2.5 million rounds sounds like a pet project of some sort , I wonder if one of the suppliers on here who had 9 containers(at a million plus rounds each) of the stuff will get the contract lol.

2.5 million rounds is nothing for a massive military. Those soldiers train on the firearms or "foreign weapons" that they are likely to encounter in the battlefield. They need ammo to do this, and in the case of western soldiers, most of the firearms employed against them are chambered in 7.62 x 39.

No conspiracy.
Story ends.
