U.S. Made M14 Receivers?

I think the Chinese have almost reached the bottom of their pile of M14 parts, receivers in specific.

There is a Springfield m1a receiver on gunbroker right now for a good price.

Yup, I been figuring that for a few months now.
I'm only assuming but I think they must have started making some barrels a little more recently as the 2009 and newer barrels, seem different and the 18.5" factory barrels I'm guessing are more recent as I wasn't aware of them making those "back in the day"

I live in the states and have easy access to M14 receivers made in the USA.
That said, all of my M14s are built on Norinco & Poly Tech receivers... this has not diminished their value, not at all.

BTW, Chinese receivers are dimensionally closer to USGI receivers than all others except SEI.

You mean,..*cough*, *cough*.......by not using a US-made receiver you can still sell you rifle for more than 10 dollars or scrap weight in the USA??

Wow,.... that's great to know H2O, I was always inclined to think as you on this matter.

There may be hope for the Chinese rifles here in Canada as well, they could start catching on any day now.....*cough*,....
