I know this is a retarded question but that gun with that length of barrel is restricted right?

Another question, say I bought the non restricted vz 58 and bought a folding stock similar to yours. Does that modification turns my long rifle into a restricted firearm?

this gun on the picture is already restricted it a mini , if you buy a cz858 with the folding it have 28-29 inch long when it folded , changing the stock it will remain it non restricted ,

Pool noodle barrel shroud would round that out nicely. Do they come in FDE?

Well that stock does look mighty comfy plus it must help with proper cheek weld when using a scope with side rail mount.

Haha! I'm actually thinking of covering the noodle in camo or black hockey tape.

It's actually surprisingly comfortable and solid and puts me exactly where I need to be to see through the scope. I need to add something to fill the void in the cheek-rest part but the butt pad part is solid. Once I tape it up, it'll do until I can afford something better.

Thanks for the compliment. It was a nice looking piece of wood to start with, all I did was stain it and coat it with true oil.

You probably would not guess, but I much prefer wood over plastic.

Finally got it home. Took the red dot off of my .22 but I'm leaning towards a reflex sight to replace it. Fixed adjustable stock is next on the list..

I wanted wood for my original wood chip stocked CZ 858 for many years, when I saw what a difference it made I immediately ditched all the cheapo plastic crap from the other two. Looks like I'm stuck with the plastic magwell adapter on the CSA, at least for the time being.
As soon as I can source the hardware to fit a wood butt stock instead of the folder I will get rid of the folder too.
