I would be more than happy to address everything above as we have been 100% honest about this whole process.
A sample was shipped directly from GSG in Germany to the RCMP lab in September of last year and it took them almost a month to pick up from customs in October of last year, which cost us just over $1800 is storage fees. We follow up with them on a regular basis but we are told that it has not been looked at yet and therefor the classification is Pending.
We are the Canadian representative of all GSG products in Canada as ATI is in the United States. We have never been asked for any sort of payment or compensation from ATI and have no connection with ATI other than who we represent. We deal directly with GSG in Germany not their US distributor.
We have never stopped anything from coming in to the country and as I hope many can see we are trying to expand what is available to the Canadian market as much as we can, not limit it.
I look at the STG-44 as a huge opportunity to bring something new to the Canadian market and we are just as anxious or more-so than all of our customers to be able to finally have this for sale.
I have left a message at the FRT division to see if they can provide me with a reference to the acceptance of the STG-44 at the lab and I will reply back tomorrow morning with what they can provide me. The firearms technicians do not have a reference that it has been received as all of the inspections happen at the lab which is in a separate building.
If anyone wants to contact the FRT division or if you think you could in any way help us with this process please contact them directly at 1-800-731-4000 extension 1090 or contact me at any time.
As everyone can see, we are trying to provide the most information which we can but this whole process keeps people in the dark.
As soon as I get an approval we promise as many STG-44's as the market could possibly want.

Well, I just heard some disturbing news.........
Rumour has it this whole thread is BS, and there is no sample submitted to the RCMP at all!!!
Something to do with Blueline refusing to buy the rights to sell these guns from ATI who actually created the rifle. So despite GSG manufacturing the gun, ATI has control over who gets to sell the rifle. Since Blueline is refusing to pay ATI for the rights to sell the rifle, ATI won't sell them to Blueline, and possibly has never even sold them a sample.
ATI then tried to offer the gun to another Canadian importer, but Blueline threatened to sue, because they have the rights from GSG to all of their products, and stopped any of these guns coming into the country!!! BS!!!
I sure hope this is not true, but apparently if you can get in touch with the RCMP firearms lab, they will tell you they do not even have a sample for testing!
At this point this is just a rumour, but I have no patience for this kind of BS so I am throwing it out there for Blueline to address.
We will see if that happens or if my post just disappears.....
