Welcome to cgn... 3 great guns I must say! Sig is much more expensive then the other 2 tho!!! What ever your pocket can handle I would say you can't go wrong... I have a glock 34 and a Beretta 96a1 which are both flawless, I wish I could afford a Sig but can't... So if I had a choice I would go with Sig cause I can't afford one! All great guns!

Beretta is only a good choice for the people with rather big hands.
Fat grip and long, gritty DA trigger pull will make your day at the range miserable.
Glock Gen 4 has smaller grip than the previous generation and is very simply design.
Trigger pull, while not great, is always the same, so it's fairly easy to master with enough time and effort.
SIG 226 in basic configuration has also long DA trigger pull, but much more smoother than Beretta.
Grip is also a bit easier to grab properly.
All three pistols are reliable in my experience.

You need to handle all 3 to judge which one fits your hand the best and which ergonomics work best for you. I have the 92fs and love it. My hands are average sized, I wear a M/L golf glove and have no problem with the grip size. Fired a 226 and it fit my hand as well, but in the end you need to pick these up and get a feel for them.

As an aside, you might get more responses in the pistol forum.

I am a proud SIG owner, so with all the bias that goes with that;

Personally, I'd go SIG; I just feel that the build quality out the box is higher than the other two pistols. SIGs are more reliable (eg, less sensitive to limpwristing) than either of the other two pistols, and just plum more reliable than the Beretta in general. Add in a terrific trigger, easily found caliber conversions, and superb accuracy, and it's hard to beat. The only downsides that I can see off the top of my head to a SIG would be that mags are expensive and difficult to find at times, and that the price difference means less trigger time than the other two.

3 excellent choices. I favor the Sig for it's solid alluminum frame, ergonomics and the DA/SA trigger. Second is the Glock for it's lightness and simplicity (not a big fan of the trigger) and third the Beretta. The Beretta is a gun that I like but will never own due to it's very large grip.

But enough about me. You need to try them all so you can see what works for you.

I have small hands and found my EX-92FS to be great to shoot! It had a short lenght of pull so to speak, trigger was close to backstrap.
The key with the 92FS is skateboard tape on these fat grips to keep a grip. I cannot speak for glock or sig tho, they are great so i have heard.
Beretta shot 12k rounds before selling it, no 1 not even 1 malfunction whatsoever. Right now i am with CZ Shadow since speed is a factor in what i shoot now.
What is the intended use? Recreation? Competition?

Glock is a great choice, and is the best value of the three. You could also condsider a Smith & Wesson M&P in that price range. I've never shot one, so can't comment on anything except the price being comparable to Glock, and favourable reviews. I own two Glock 17 Gen4's and would highly recommend any Glock product.

My vote for the 92FS. I'm a small person with small- medium hands. No significant issues.
Unless you are planning to use the gun for serious action shooting (i.e. competitive).

Find friend(s) and try them all first.

Having shot a handful of rounds through M9/92, a few thousands through Sig 225-226 and about 20k rds through a Glock, my personal choice is Glock. I still maintain that unless you have a specific requirement, such as work or IPSC, you are best serve with the pistol which appeals to you the most.

Glocks are cheaper to buy by a few hundred $. No decocking leaver. Constant trigger.

all three are pretty reliable, if not probably the most out of all the mass produced pistols chambered in 9mm.
i own a 92fs, but have shot the other two aswell. i think i can say that the glock 17 is the most reliable out of all 3, as it is the only one that has DAO/striker fired action or whatever.
if price, weight, ergonomics, and accuracy are of the utmost importance in your decision, then go with the glock.
the 92fs and the p226 are very very similar due to the fact that they are both DA/SA, heavy metal frames, relatively ergonomic (except for the safety on the 92fs, and the slide stop on the p226).
what sets those two apart i believe, is only the price. i was originally having a hard time deciding between those two pistols, but i went with the 92fs because it was on sale (and its also the ###iest gun of the 3 as well)
the DA pull on the 92fs is really bad, but the SA pull is really good. i doubt you'll be carrying it hammer down with a round in the chamber though, so it wont really matter about the DA trigger pull, unless you plan to de-#### your gun after each shot.

my $0.05

also from what people say about the grips on the beretta being too big, i have to disagree. i have small-medium sized hands, and i have no problem with shooting the 92. as long as you're not holding the pistol "surrey style", or shooting one handed with it, you should be good to go.

I would go for the M&P or the Beretta, I can't stand how Gritty the Glock trigger is.
Google Glock trigger gritty and you will see what I mean, but by all means try it for yourself.

Having owed the GLOCK 17 Gen 4 and the P226. I would get the GLOCK if money is an issue. If not, Sig for sure. They are 2 of the best 9mm pistols available. I believe if you replaced the Beretta with the CZ SP-01 shadow you would have a very tough choice to make.

Do you want a DA/SA pistol or a striker fired one? Both are very different.
