My Savage .22WMR preferred Hornady 30gr. V-Max.
Same here. The rest was pretty good, too. But not as good as the vmax.

Marlin .22 wmr called the 22xt, easy to find for about $200 and awesome accuracy, i can hit crows at 150 yrds no problem.
Make that a third. Vmax turned my 93GL into a freaking laser beam.
Thanks for the ammo tips, going to take a risk and stock up on a bunch of Hornady 30gr V-Max. I ordered the stainless synthetic Savage Model 93. When I'm out in the middle of nowhere and it starts raining like a bugger, I'll be laughing at the rain all the way home. The only gripe I have is that the 10 round .22WMR mags are hard to find, and that it doesn't come with back-up fiber optic iron sights like in the past. Oh well, you can't have everything I guess. Thanks to all.
