.22WMR rifle recommendations

I bought a Marlin 925M from Frontier. Super fast shipping and a all round great shooter. I have shot pennies from 50 yards and extra mags seem to be easy to find.

Thanks for the ammo tips, going to take a risk and stock up on a bunch of Hornady 30gr V-Max. I ordered the stainless synthetic Savage Model 93. When I'm out in the middle of nowhere and it starts raining like a bugger, I'll be laughing at the rain all the way home. The only gripe I have is that the 10 round .22WMR mags are hard to find, and that it doesn't come with back-up fiber optic iron sights like in the past. Oh well, you can't have everything I guess. Thanks to all.

I got a 10 rd mag in London for $42 and tax.

I suggest trying CCI 40g JHP as well. I have found it shoots just as good as the Hornady if no better. I also found that the CCI performs better on large rodents.

Back , just before the gun registry , a buddy who didn't want to go through the hassle GAVE me his Marlin 95MN.
It turned into my go-to rifle for all kinds of small game including 'yotes.
...a no-bull tough working gun .
Fast , easy action for that follow-up shot... "if " you need it :D

I wouldent buy a 22mag in anything but a marlin. the 22wmr seems to love the micro grove rifling. Plus the pro-fire trigger on the marlin is far superior to savages accu-trigger IMO. my XT22MVSR shoots under 1/2 inch at 50m and has no problem busting clays at 200m, it also shoots great with all typs of ammo ive tryed in it.
