How to track Canada Ammo's package ?
1 letter + 21 numbers in the tracking

CANPAR is ####. I live in an apartment and they will NEVER bother to ring my buzzer or check the directory to confirm/contact me. I work from home and are there usually every day all day. Its a deal breaker for me to order from a supplier who uses ####ing stupid Canpar.

Canpar, the reason I stopped looking at CanadAmmo for stuff. In Saskatoon if they cannot deliver you have to pickup from office, does not sound bad until you try, open from 8:00am-9:00am Mon-Fri, working people can't get there without time off.

I used to have a company that shipped heavy product (not guns) and we used canpar for shipping to our clients. Canpar's hit and miss, depends on where you are. Sometimes they are fabulous, sometimes they suck - depends on the driver. But they're frequently way cheaper than other options.

If you're getting stuff shipped by canpar, try and develop a relationship with the driver. You don't have to have ### with them, but it doesn't hurt to call the office and have a conversation with them about dropping stuff off. Most of the drivers are just folks and once they know what you want/need, they're just as happy to do it. If they don't deliver it, remember they have to come back the next day again and that adds to their work day.

Yeah, Canpar's delivery system isn't for everybody.
With enough complaints, they'll take the easy way out and stop delivery of guns and ammo.
Might as well bash CP and other delivery companies, on a public forum, while we're at it.
Then it will cash and carry for all.

Canpar has been 50/50 for me - what I don't like, being local to Canam, the canpar driver knows what he is delivering to my house.. Last driver asked "what on earth do you need all this ammo for?" time before that was "another one ?" - Its hard because they do have good service and are one of the few carriers who will transport Ammunition.... Just sucks that the drivers know where I live, and essentially what I have.

Thankfully I have a duo of Bullmastiff's to help me sleep easy.

I just walked back into the door from picking up my order from CanPar. Went pretty painlessly since I just discovered that their terminal is 200 m away from the front door of my office building. Definitely can tell why they are the cheaper option out there as the gravel parking lot and the tiny little door at the back of a big warehouse kind of gave it away. Not the least bit turned off though.

A happy CanAm customer, and CanPar at this particular moment ;)

I'm very Happy with Canada Ammo and the products I've bought from them, but for me CanPar is difficult to deal with as they don't have a local office and the delivery driver has to come and hour and a half to attempt to deliver and if I'm at work then I have to travel and hour and a half to their office for manual pick up as they won't attempt or arrange for another delivery.

Its unfortunate as I have UPS, Purolator, Fedex, and Canada Post all local, but as Canada Ammo is Awesome, and shipping is Free, then Canpar is a Necessary Evil

Luckily Can-Par delivers right to my office (which I own). I meet the driver in the driveway and load the gear directly from his truck to mine. Its been great. Slow, but great. And when your getting free shipping its really hard to complain. But i understand the hassles of having them not drop it off and having to go pick it up. Kindof defeats the purpose of delivery really. And, techinically, youd need to get a TATT to go to the canpar office to pick it up. Annoying.

You don't need a TATT to pick it up. You don't know for 100% sure it's a firearm. It could be a package of shoes. Until it's unwrapped it's a package of anything you can think of.

OP. That tracking number is for CanPar. I received the same and you can try it here:

Can anyone tell me what their average wait time for orders to the east coast has been? Say NB or NS? I've heard some varying accounts...

That's not a fact and has been highly debated. While I do agree with you, there has never been a definitive answer so if you want to play it safe, get an TATT.

Canpar's service in Toronto is on par with FedEx ad UPS... Canada Post is the worst. They usually don't even carry the package to your door, and have the delivery attempt notice ready before even ringing the bell. I've caught them doing this twice.

FE, UPS, and Canpar all make you go to their main facility to pick up, which is a real pain, where CP drops it at the closest Post Office to your address.

Canada Ammo gives you free shipping with Canpar. My last order weighed as much as I do. Free shipping with Canpar from British Columbia?! Thank you very much...

The Canpar driver for my area in Toronto is pretty good, but if I'm working on delivery day the depot is quite a ways away making pick-up a hassle.
