There's a UPS store only a few blocks away from me and I knew I wouldn't be around at delivery time. My ammo was dropped off at UPS and for $5 I picked it up at my convenience. Worth consideration if you have the option.
Yeah, Canpar's delivery system isn't for everybody.
With enough complaints, they'll take the easy way out and stop delivery of guns and ammo.
Wow.. lots of information.. first thank you all for the answers.. CanPar.. now i know..
The rest worry me a little.. all your input point to 50/50 success rate.. My CanAm package will arrive at a date that i will be out of the house for a few days. I live in an appartment where i am affraid they could leave my shotgun at the door.. or in the common entrance of the building where everybody could pick it up.. sure hope they leave a paper/notice to where i can pick it up when i get home.
Do they leave a notice or just ditch the package at the door usually ?
and thank you again for all the informations guys.
Never had a problem yet..knock knock, and I live in the Boonies ..
I guess they get confused with all the street signs and traffic over this way. So far i rate canpar better than my mail man.
You have a mail man ?? lol
Yes, and every day he shows up we get all excited like its christmas, but all he ever brings me are bils to pay.
Its like christmas when canpar shows up, cause they only deliver guns! Lol,
You guys in the city are just so lucky.. I have to drive 2kms just to look into a crappy 1955 rusted mail box..![]()
You can't get any better service than that. The Canpar driver was at my apartment front door at 9:45am for a delivery stated on the tracking site as "late in the day". The doorbell rings my cell phone at work and he asked if my work was close by. It's about 4km away. I give him my work address and in about 45 minutes, I have my package. Kudos.
Grass is always greener..... I have been looking for some acreage in interior BC, can shoot my guns,
