Shorten PAL Approval Times

Yay my license has been issued. Here is my timeline for anyone that cares.

June 17 - Received by CFP
August 13 - Appears online, call the same day and I'm told my interviews will be ready soon
August 16 - My first reference and I call in
August 19 - Second reference called in and my license was issued immediately after

Looking back in hindsight I guess it wasn't too bad of a wait.

f:P:

Sorry but that is exactly the opposite response as you should have and should never settle for such pathetic BS from our own GOV...

And yet here I wait, even though my application was received a full week before yours. CFP is stupid...

now I see where your from Brampton just outside of T.O I almost moved there years ago from Scarborough but thought it would be cool to move to Stupidpeg lol (Winnipeg ) but ya I herd things take longer in Ontario .

check this site out

Trust me, I have had that site bookmarked since the day my application was sent it. I'm just waiting for the CFO to do final approval, but the lady I talked to at CFP today told me that the backup could mean I have to wait another 30 days. In 19 days, my address will no longer be in Ontario, and I can imagine the can of worms that'll open for me if my PAL is not issued before then.

Hi All

Been lurking here for a while and have now got to the stage where my application has completed the progressing stuff, interviews are all done and now it been sent to the BC CFO, my question is do they send all RPAL applications to the CFO or is it only when there is something wrong or missing?

Thanks

Where are you moving to ?

Moving to Calgary. I was hoping to have the license before the move so that I could go through a normal change of address with the CFP after the move. I have a feeling that if I move mid process that's going to nullify any progress and I'll have to restart with all of my new info.
