US Military to purchase 2.5 Million rounds of Russian 7.62 x 39 mm ball ammo

Where is the hate part?

right here a post buy the op

"Cowards, excuse artists. I won't sit around and pretend there's no problem while US, Canadian, British governments give "humanitarian aid" to Islamic extremists... Russia has troops in Syria fighting the Islamic extremists we're funding. The same ones who attacked us on September 11th.

Rationalize it anyway you want. I've seen the pictures and videos of Syrian Christian families being executed in front of eachother and I'm not gonna pretend this is about freedom or that these ammo purchases are no big deal. You don't get this info in the National Post, one has to dig deep; Deeper than many here are willing to go.

I think I gotta find a new forum where folks have some balls and brains. Most Canadians, including many here, are ******* pushovers and I ain't gonna stand for this anymore."

He didn't harm anyone, didn't even tell anyone else to harm anyone. He did say we're ignorant cowards, accuse Syrians of genocide and western countries of turning a blind eye to it. Didn't say Muslims, but Islamic extremists.

This is the kind of thread that just keeps on giving! Laugh2

We're generous people in the Red Rifle forum.

Is there another form of Islamic extremist that isn't Muslim?

Depends on who's a muslim and who just thinks they are, and who gets to define "muslim". These are important things to establish before jumping to a question like this.

:popCorn:lol I'd say that was hate more then an opinion. But I guess im just another pushover...

I take it you don't want my opinion on that.

If I'm a ### alcoholic hog farmer who thinks Muhammed was a good guy, can I call myself a Muslim?

Who owns the copyrighted trademark on "Islam"? What may be branded as "Islamic"?

This is a concept I would like to define before you ask whether Islamic extremists are all muslims.

If you are and want to call yourself that, who am I to stop you. For the most part most CGN'ers are polite caring people who for the most part try to nurture the gun sports here in Canada. Crack open a pack of Jimmie Dean's and hork down on some sausage. Now if you were a practicing Muslim, you would never admit that you are a ### alcoholic hog farmer in a public forum so the point is moot.

BahhahahahahaLaugh2

So if I go to the Human Rights Tribunal on the grounds that I've been discriminated against by being kicked out of a mosque for my homosexuality, drunkenness, and bacon-gluttony, what do you think they'd say? After all, since I came to believe in the Revelation of Mohammed, Prophet of Allah, I'm just as much a muslim as them, right?

perhaps those at the HRT and or a Mosque would be better positioned to answer these peculiar questions of yours!?

IBTL...mods, where's the gun talk?

Fair enough, though I think it was a valid tangent, and I did have a point to make.

Back to 2,500,000 7.62x39 cartridges being purchased.

My point in case you missed it is this. This forum exists to promote responsible gun ownership and foster knowledge in the shooting sports. It is not here to jump up on a soapbox and vent your sociological beliefs. Now be gone with thee. Perhaps to the off-topics section.
IBTL, Have a nice day.

2.5 million rounds is nothing for a massive military. Those soldiers train on the firearms or "foreign weapons" that they are likely to encounter in the battlefield. They need ammo to do this, and in the case of western soldiers, most of the firearms employed against them are chambered in 7.62 x 39.

No conspiracy.
Story ends.

2.5m rounds = roughly 2083.33 crates (1200 round 7.62x39 crates) which = $ 416, 666 for all those rounds if purchased @ 200/crate....

These are undoubtably destined for syria... dont kid yourselfs folks, afterall we armed them to fight the soviets during russia invasion in afghanistan, they then used those arms (which we gave them to fight the russians) against us in afghanistan. Were arming them now, to fight for us, when that fight is over, they will turn guns against us, yet again. WE DONT LEARN FFS.

You haven't read the posts of this thread. Like many others.

One thing to keep in mind folks, if this was destined for Syria/ Somethingstan as you say, the US armed forces just wouldn't announce it out loud.

Seriously, the things I've read in this thread will scar me for life. So much tinfoil...

Agreed, they either do it quietly or pay some third world country closer to the conflict to do it for them.
