I was going to try and message m14doctor directly but he doesn't accept privet messages. Probably because he would be inundated with 1000 or so. So its now opened to all
I was debating doing a m14 build starting with a Norinco m14 and debating if it makes more sense to use just a receiver or to start or is it better to just buy a whole gun.
Also I'm reading in the recent marstar thread about their latest shipments. Apparently there have been problems with the 18.5 barrels versions. Barrels flying off one blowing up etc.
I was thinking of building a Non restricted CQB. Use a troy or blackfeather stock, muzzle break etc.
Is it practical to use a 22 in barrel for this? I've heard there are other benefits from chopping the barrel, threading it etc...
