Back to Australia; Pics added

Yeah, that was the fourth shot. The first was through the shoulders at 20-25 yards, then as he went all rodeo for about 20 yards I got another into his ribs from the same side. Just to keep me entertained he then spun around and came back on the same path and took one from the other side and made it back to the same spot where it all started. He was facing directly toward me, and got locked on about the same time I popped him with the last shot in the .458. Water buffalo are funny, they can't lift their head very high so when they are staring at you their nose is pointing right at you. The bullet went out the back of his head. You can get an idea from this picture.

I actually shot him as a management bull a couple days later.

If he was standing like that, that explains the shot so low in the nose. that's quite the story. Pretty trophy too. As some point, I'll need to get a dundee hat...

Did you leave one for me, Dogleg?

Couple of nice bulls !! Which one's your boy?

I just left one, but he's a bloody big bugger.;)

The one on the left in the camo cap. He's 17, pushing 18. Our guide was a 26 year old, 90 % crazy kangaroo culler. That left us free to do pretty much whatever we wanted, which was a welcome relief from control freak PHs.

We're still in Sydney, waiting to board for the trip home.

but do you have a Crocodile Dundee knife?

Nope would love one but got my hat last week from a company called KAKADU TRADERS Austrailia with a little Kangaroo on the left side.

Love it it's my prize shooting hat now. If you find a nice Dundee knife orderable online give us a shout :)

Bonvoyage be safe and good luck Dogleg

Imagine all the knife handles I could slab out of one of those big buggers! Might have to intercept Dogleg's trophies on their way into the country and saw the horns off his bull. Not the boy's...that would be mean. But bullmeister, he'll just go back and get another one.
