You asked for it, we delivered! UTS-15 Torture Test!

The man offered you the opportunity to shoot the gun and he will supply all the ammo you want, I wish I lived close enough to take him up on his offer.
Sounds like a dealer who is confident in his product and you can see the older fellow short stroking it repeatedly which is causing the ftf.

Funny how everyone on here seems to be picking on the gun and Wolverine Supplies, yet has never seen or shot one in person. In my dealings with Wolverine Supplies I have never known them to sell junk. They also have a great policy on fixing the guns in house and not sending the buyer to some third party importer. If Wolverine Supplies says the guns are good to go, I am sure they are and if there is a problem I would be confident that they would fix it. The gun is not something that I would be interested in but I cannot understand the bashing of it especially if they are offering to let it be shot.

Firstly, the guns in the other videos with the exception of the Hickok45 guns are the American made versions, no the Turkish guns.
Secondly in the first video we did you will find that the updates are talked about. The plastic loading block/selector has been replaced with a new solid magnesium unit, with an updated 5mm selector bolt and metal selector. These units are very strong and will hold up under pressure for sure. The top rail is now also magnesium instead of polymer and there are increased welds on the barrel bands. The only problems we had with the first guns were SOME selectors breaking and a few with weak barrel welds, due to human error. Feeding issues etc were due to user error not the shotgun.

Just to add to grumpy wolverine's post, all the previous UTS-15's imported by Wolverine Supplies will also be retrofitted to the new magnesium monoblock, even the ones that have had no problem. The manufacturer and Wolverine Supplies are standing behind the product 100%.

I did notice quite a few jams and FTF in the video. Did you guys try it out and/or make a video with different kinds of ammo? I am curious how it would handle the cheaper trap rounds for playing around camping. Looks like a fun gun. But im not sold for that price.

The first video was shot using a mix of new ammo, from cheap trap loads to buckshot. The majority of the rounds shot in the second video were old old old paper hulled rounds, a lot of which were corroded and some very old plastic hull loads, which were a variety of shot sizes. If you're not familiar with paper hulled shells, they are covered in a light lacquer but they also tend to swell with age if they get damp etc, and the shells deform somewhat, which did cause some of the jams, along with casing splitting in the chamber etc. No shotgun would have performed any better with that old hodge podge of ammo. The last two loadings of the second video are all done with new pheasant load ammo.

ok the only other problem was you got to shoot it and not me. too bad no one around these parts has one to hold or even try.

K soo I would like to say on a positive note that even tho there have been problems with this gun Wolverine supplies has done more then there part to solve the problem. I currently have mine there being fixed and as soon as I get it back will be putting it threw the same test with brand new federal slugs #00 #4 and #8 shot if it works great if not then we will have to take it from there

How long is this show up and torture test offer open for? I've been looking at one of these in scepticism for the last while. Started with kel tec KSG but didn't bit the bullet because I'm not a fan of polymers. A torture test I'd like to see is burning up a flat or 2 of trap loads, 2-3/4 or 3dr eq.... I'd like to see how it handles some heat. I have 2 flats I'd be willing to sacrifice.

I would like to see you guys shoot a great deal of quality ammo through this. Frankly this video was just two guys blowing off a ton of old crappy ammo. The result was 50% of the time spent fiddling and ejecting jams and bad feeds, 50% spent firing. That to me looks like a crappy gun. I can't tell if that's the gun or the ammo. Too easy to blame on the ammo.

My Mossberg 590A1 has sticky ejections from bad ammo, but it still ejects, still cycles and never jams. Why would someone be interested in a tactical gun that they have to pop open and clear jams every time they try to empty the tube?

Like I said, a proper torture test would involve you testing firing a great deal of good ammo, as a control. Show what it can do. Not what it does to ammo most of us won't fire. Paper shells? I can't tell you the last time I saw that stuff.

No problem, we can do that, wait for our next video. We will edit out the loading time and note any failures. The barrel got extremely hot, to hot to touch yet the polymer was still comfortable to hold with bare hands. The point of using the old corroded was to show the efficiency of the greatly improved chamber, which based on my practical experience solves a lot of issues incorrectly blamed on extractors and extractor springs.
More to follow.

That shotgun got so hot you wouldn't have wanted to touch the barrel at all yet the polymer was cold to the touch. On take the shotgun down afterwards, there was no signs of heat or melting present on it. Polymers can be as tough or tougher than metal, just ask Gaston Glock, H&K and NASA.

Hey John why don't you ship that down to Ontario with a few flats of ammo and I would be happy to do an independent test for you.
This would save you guys the time and trouble of having to haul it all to the range, set up, shoot, suffer the sore shoulder and then clean up.
I am willing to be your guinea pig and take one for the team.Just thought I put that out there.

That is maybe a good idea! please send me an e-mail John@wolverinesupplies.com

I'm gonna second a hopeful me too on an independent test lol (i'm closer in Winnipeg). And would be willing to due some serious load testing.

On a completely different note, Wolverine supplies is a very well respected dealer here in Manitoba and if they say its fixed then I would give them the benefit of the doubt. I agree that first run products can have flaws, look at the auto industry and new models. But to come right out and say the v2 which has had all the previous flaws changes is a POS seems an unreasonable comment to post on this video. Lets beat on this thing a bit and then decide. Just my 2 cents. I applaud Mr Wolverine and Grumpy Wolverine for not getting sucked into a pissing contest!
