You asked for it, we delivered! UTS-15 Torture Test!

But my question is are they going to change out all the parts on the v1 to make it a version 2 or are the people who have the first versions stuck with what they got?

After discussions with UTAS they have agreed to supply the new Magnesium monoblock as a free upgrade for ALL the UTS 15 shotguns in Canada, no matter the age or who imported them! I don’t think you can expect better. All the guns were sold with a 12 month warranty which should have taken care of any other problems. UTAS have agreed to extend the warranty for those guns that have had a barrel weld fail. Some later modifications like the Magnesium top rail are just natural product improvements that will not be offered as a free upgrade.

Please e-mail sales@wolverinesupplies.com for details of the Monoblock upgrade this will take a few months to happen.

i really wanted to like this gun, but breaking in my hands just by flipping the switch left an extremely unhappy
memory of this gun. now that they claim to have fixed all these problems, i'd like to give it another year
before i decide to get one or not.

if all the problems are rectified, then thats great... however, that company shouldn't have shipped out that #### fest
of guns the first time out when they bloody well knew that the gun had crap problems... or maybe they didn't know
because they didn't bother testing it properly? in any case, that doesn't say great things about the company either.

That is very disappointing I really liked the idea of the magnesium top rail. I beleave that should be including that upgrade as an compensation for wasting our time with a problematic firearm that we payed a pretty penny for. Considering the 2 870 shotguns I bought used in mint condition from 1970's shoot the same ammo and I have put over 600 rounds threw and never had a single problem with

Months for it to happen????????

By the time we get all the new mono-blocks in and distributed it will take awhile.

One thing to remember, is that while frustrating, and the tube selector isn't useable, the firearm still is. The guns function just fine without the selector, it just negates the ability for the user to select which tube to select the shells from. I know many customers who have put lots of rounds through their UTS with a broken selector. I know of one in particular who has put over 2000 rounds through his UTS with a broken selector. It shouldn't stop you from using the gun.

For the folks with the broken barrel bands we will be getting their shotguns back up and running and out to them as soon as we can.:shotgun:

That shotgun got so hot you wouldn't have wanted to touch the barrel at all yet the polymer was cold to the touch. On take the shotgun down afterwards, there was no signs of heat or melting present on it. Polymers can be as tough or tougher than metal, just ask Gaston Glock, H&K and NASA.

I'm fully aware that polymers have proven they are up to the task and I should know better (Mechanical engineer)... But I still have a hard time having faith in them when it applies to a firearm. Maybe it's just a bad habit I inherited from my father.... "If its not steel it's junk".... I'd have to play with one to give my 2 cents..... You willing to refund if I don't like it? Lol.....

Thank you for clarifying that for us JakeRave.
Full refunds apply only to products that we can resell as new as detailed on our warranty policy.
Refunding if you do not like it would not make any business sense. Once it has been used, we have to sell it as a used firearm and then we make no profit and go out of business.
We will always stand behind anything we sell and fix any problems.

K well when u have a poor product and it breaks and the customer ships it back and you refuse to return there money then it tends to leave a bad taste in there mouth

agreed, you cant back a #### product if you aren't willing to take it back when it ####s bricks.

ask utas to work with you guys at wolverine. they should take full responsibility for a firearm they made
that is seriously faulty

Seriously faulty?
A small bolt has broken that causes the selector to come off. The firearm is still functional and the manufacturer has come up with an upgrade to solve the problem.
All of the UTS-15 shotguns (even the ones that have not had the problem) will be upgraded to the new magnesium monoblock.
Yes it took a little time but I believe they are due to land shortly and the upgrades will begin.
The manufacturer and Wolverine do take full responsibility for them and will fix them.
Regards
Guy

I just want this on here for the record that my uts 15 had its selector switch and also had hulls 2 3/4 federal blue box not only not extract but would have to hammer the but stock on the ground to get the forend to eject the hull. I am not looking for a heated battle I am just stating facts

well, with opinions going around like the ones i have seen, i think we can kiss torture tests goodbye...

note that i was really entertained by this thread, so its should count for something...cou:

Sorry JakeRave,
I did not mean my comments to sound like a battle.
I want you to have a fully functional shotgun as much as you do. As I mentioned in our e-mail exchange, I have your shotgun next to my desk and it will be the first one to be fixed when the monoblocks get here. I will also run another 30 rounds through it to function check it again as I did when it first arrived.
Regards
Guy

Sounds good guy thanks for your continued effort to making this exchange as pleasant as can be will look forward to future purchases maybe after some further investigation as I thought six months worth of watching a shotgun was enough apparently not. But again I would like to voice my high regard for conducting business with Wolverine supplies as they are amazing to deal with and take customer satisfaction in the highest regard

Thanks for that Jake and I am confident we will be able to restore your confidence in your shotgun once we get it upgraded and back to you.

Awesome I was informed that Wolverine supplies were the go to people in the gun industry in Canada so I look forward to seeing my shotgun in top working order! Thanks guys!!!!!!

if the gun breaks, and it breaks for almost everyone, it's faulty hence; faulty part. its suppose to be a new firearm and they
started with the wrong foot forward(uts, not wolverine), dont you think? on top of that, frame breaks on certain parts. friend at the range
showed me... thats serious bull####. found out it had to some other people on this forum as well.

i am in no way docking you guys; you guys are great! it's just the uts product itself. i am mad at them for their lack of quality control from
the beginning.
