Diemco c8 civilian ownership

its one of the fake ones dlask made, and its seen the sanding disk to make it look like it has seen "action" all the other parts came from OSTS, so likely its a member on CGN that has it forsale.
I had one for a while, but just could not bring myself to keep it...

That is a Dlask lower. It has been "aged" by hand to look older. It is owned (or was not too long ago) by a fellow that is on CGN. Was offered for sale in the EE as well.

Am I blind or is there no hole for the auto sear?

Quick question, if a receiver has that hole for the auto sear, would that require 12.2, 12.3 status to posses?

No they're not Grandfatherable.

Meaning a new machine gun imported today even if it's old enough can't be Grandfathered. If a company owns a 12.X firearm it just becomes Prohibited and loses all Grandfather privilliages because they claim they can't tell if it's new or old if it's in a companys inventory. So if a prop company buys a 12.2 firearm it's prohibited and can't be sold back to the orginal owner. That's how it works for 12.x firearms and companys....

Now Dlask Arms did make C6 and C8 for the Canadian military he makes it for them sometimes. So a copy of it ie semi auto only he can make it if you want and he can mark it anything you want you can even have a custom serial number made if you want.

Not all of them. The C8A2 issued to multiple police agencies is semi auto only. Some C8s have the fun switch, but not all, and not all are machined for the fun switch having only a semi auto lower.

There are Colt guns built using Diemaco marked parts. Find a Colt Defence gun marked "Made in Canada" and the vast majority of parts will be Diemaco. The lowers from these guns, while they lack Diemaco/Colt Canada markings, are in fact from Diemaco/CC. There are some of these in Canada, but they are hard to find here, and were sold by Colt to US contracts or for civilian guns in that marked.

So while a Colt "Made in Canada" 6520 series, 6920 series, M4LE or AR15A3 are not C8s, they have a common link.

Some of the police have the fun switch in them...... Not the average it's in the trunk of the police car but for the EMT response team they have a full auto mp5 and C8, C6 ect as well.
