Just being a noob in general about firearms, started out with an SKS (on the advice of many) and a survival .22 AR-7... I feel like I have to mention Im a noob in every other post bc everyone on here knows so much.
Anywayyy, I have been looking into my next firearm and there isn't really anything better than a Ruger 10/22 is there? Cheap, reliable, you can customize the hell out of it... problem is how hard they are to find in Canada. The guy in Le Baron told me today the demand is so high in the USA they don't have any left to ship up here. When they do get a few they are gone in a day... You can see most of the online stores have them out of stock as well. Why is this exactly? Its a great gun, great price sure. The American public may be in a firearm buying frenzy but why have they picked the Ruger 10/22 to buy up? Then again Im sure this isn't the only firearm that's hard to keep on the shelf, just the only one Ive had this experience with. Why cant Ruger ramp up production?
Lastly, anyone know of a store online who has them in stock? Or a store in the Ottawa area, I mean there are really only 3 places that I know of, Sail, Le Baron, and Sports Action.
