Dominion Arms T97NRR Rifle?

I like the $150+ saving over everyone else. I have never owned a Dominion Arms', I know they are made in a different factory. Is it about comparable, or better fit/finish to Norc. ??
I called them this week, & the guy told me that they have "Their" Own Factory in China, & that the T97's are being packed for shipping as we spoke, & they are expecting approx. 2000 units...so... take it with a grain of salt? Fact or Fiction..? I have no idea, but I thought to call & ask, & that's what I was told. (that's pretty much verbatim)

That is excellent news (it would be nice to have one before the snow flies). Can Canada Ammo confirm that these are approved for sale in Canada?

Packaged for shipment!!! Oh goody goody!!! Can't wait to 'cash' my Nov.11, 2008 preorder & add the T97 to my collection!!!

Cheers
Jay

Can CanAm confirm this? When I look at the other importers thread and what their dealers were telling us, they had the FRT for the 97NSR approved back in Late April and then went to production after. If these guns arrive by October, it will have been 5 months from the FRT number to delivery.

I would assume that this time around Can Am will not have the rifles produced until the FRT is approved, so here is my question, have Canada Ammo rifles even began to be produced without an FRT? I dont mean to be diving into your buisness and I do not expect an exact delivery date, but it sure seems like it will be allot longer then fall for delivery on these. Are we looking at another 5 months away once the FRT is issued? I am still waiting on these from the first batch.

The NSR and NRR are the exact same, so yes they are under production. Just a name difference, if you read any of the other 100 threads on this rifle you would know this

I am a little confused as to why some dealers are receiving these already but CanAm has been quiet about the details of their shipment? I understand they don't want to release specifics until they are 100% sure but any more details would be appreciated. I am gonna wait it out.

They have already answered this question a thousand times, they are arriving in the fall, I believe late October, so save your questions until then. They have said they will not say anything until the ship has landed. Read the other t97 locked thread

A thousand times eh? I have read the other threads and they are just as vague as your response. Thanks for coming out.
Either way I'll wait it out and show my support for CanAm(and the price difference helps some too ;) ). I am in no rush but updates are nice too. The anticipation is half the fun.

updates will be posted in the other thread once we have them.

Given the mess last time, we will not be commenting until they are on our warehouse floor.

T97 Update Please

Hi,

I am assuming you have received a lot of calls about the T97 today as other dealers are shipping these units. I know you are being cautious due to what happened last time but can you please just let us know the below.

1) Is there a FRT number for the T97NRR and if so has it been approved?
2) If th above is true have they been shipped from China?

Thank You
T

Read last post, it's been covered in two threads not more than 5 days ago.

I might be missing the post but I don't see if there is a FRT and if so are they shipped. I think with so many other stores getting them an idea as to what to expect would be nice. If there is no approved FRT then we are several months away while if there is a approved FRT we are a bit closer.

Thanks T

He's right. If we don't know when the FRT is approved or not, CanAm is making it difficult for some of us consumers who wants to buy from them but don't want to risk wasting time with the preorder.

I can see your point but I look at it this way. It's a $150.00 cheaper through CA with two mags. Also let the people who purchased NS rifles be the beta testers, ya never know the rifle may have problems. I do not think anybody who wants a T97 is going to be left out. There are going to be mountains of them on the market.

On another note.

Was a new FRT # issued/required when the US version of the Tavor (SAR-21) was imported into Canada?

Would the two versions of the T97 with different suffixes be treated differently?

It would be nice if CanAm could give us a definitive answer. I am patient and can wait just want to know the official status!

I agree the key to sucess is communications, i would have no problem waiting iif an Eta was published , im not going to cancel my preorder if i have a ser eta but the lack of communication is starting to get on my nerves I did not order with canam only because of the price but also cause i believe good service bring loyalty and to be honest I am starting to question my loyalty. I feel like we deserve on honest answer on where we are in the process of getting the T97 as the nsr is in the country yet still no Eta on the NNR. Anyways I don't think im asking much as in the end if CanAm wants my money I should at least be somewhat inform.

Thats all I have to say
