I just had a look, the CanAm preorder is still on their site @849...

Whenever their T97's show up, I will be buying one! (To join the one I got this past Friday...)

Cheers
Jay

:agree: x2 I did the exact same got NSR shipped out, and keeping my pre-order and buying one fron Canada ammo too! Respect :)

So it wouldn't need an FRT because it is the same rifle that other importers are bringing in correct? it would just use that FRT? variant of a of an FRT like a norc AR vs a Colt Ar?

There are Chinese SKS with different FRT numbers simply because they came from different factories. Same with ARs. So ya, it will probably will.

I suspect ( personal thought) that CA have a many hundreds on preorder, i know at at least 15 guys who are waiting for them, but i also suspect that if it go later than jan 2014, a lot of peoples will buy them from the dealer that have them in stock... JP.

I highly suspect if CA refuses to reply to any personal inquiry related to the T97 most will bail permanently. It's not exactly good form.

I have no problem waiting for Canadammo to get their shipment in. I got a backpacker after quite a wait but it eventually arrived and at the old price too.!A great gun that caused a bit of contraversy at the range. One old timer got so irate [ convinced that it was illegal ] he called the RCMP to say that there were illegal weapons on [ his ] range [ it is not his but he thinks it is because his family owned it 80 years ago ] The RCMP arrive and come over to see what I am up to and I recognize one of them from the base Gagetown range as I assisted them as a ammo nco a few weeks prior. The officer knew the rules and quickly sorted out the situation and suggested mr rule book to actually read the firearms regulations. The officers were facinated by the backpacker and I let them fire a couple of rounds each.Mr rules left the range and spun a bunch of gravel that hit the cruiser. The officers were not impressed and left to check out his paperwork and such.On another note tho I ordered a 16 ga for $99.00 from them and it is on the way as I need to feed the monster.

Fudds gonna hate.

While I got a few NSR, in principal I support CanAm and will probably buy an NRRs when they land.

More importers bringing in products helps guard against government goons stopping them at the border before they land, like they did with Wolvarne and the 858s.
