Tanfoglio Appeal - Back in stock.

I am so stoked about this it's hard to pause long enough to ask this question, but the linked per-order doesn't specify a calibre and I am only interested in the .22 WMR version.

Will I be well taken care of by submitting a pre-order?

Thanks!

Me too? I want the .22 magnum but there isn't anywhere to specify

Sorry for the delay in update. Information out of Italy has been sporadic.

Further to the delay in Italy for export permits - explained here;

We are now expecting delivery of Appeals in late September. Deposits are still being collected.
Anyone who put a deposit down when we thought delivery would be in July has been offered a refund via personal email if they would rather not wait to September.

We appreciate your patience.

The Euro Sucks.

The Euro has skyrocketed in value, causing a small price increase.

We've raised the price of the Appeal to $538, but all orders collected before September 1 will have the original price honored when they come in later this month.

Thanks Dorian. It is a great time for an update.

The RCMP ruled the Appeal to be NON_RESTRICTED a little over a week ago.
I placed an order with Tanfoglio for an initial quantity of units for sale; in both 22 Mag and 22LR.
I was waiting to confirm a delivery date.

The retail price for them will be $538. Extra 10 round mags will be $25.00

We will have the gun listed on our website by Wednesday night and will be accepting deposits for the first shipment, due late September.

To answer the previous comment regarding 17HMR - Tanfoglio was going to make the gun in 17HMR, but according to them,

This is on par with other manufacturers choosing not to offer a semi-automatic version for 17HMR (ie. Magnum Research)

No .17 HMR.

ITs apparently difficult to make a semi auto .17 safe and reliable.

As of right now I own the only one in the country. Picked it up yesterday at the bible hill gun show from Sean at the Freedom Ventures table. The rifle is of amazing quality and I couldn't be happier with it. Taking it to the range Tuesday to try it out. Thanks again Freedom Ventures, you guys are awesome. Best gear in Nova Scotia.

I guess that must feel pretty special...

It also makes you the target of a lot of envious guys waiting on theirs!

I am very much looking forward to your range report and any experiences
You have with various optics on this rifle.

Take care! We are all excited to hear about it.

Where are the pics of it I would love to see one in the flesh

Here she is, enjoy. I'm thinking of putting a Bushnell TRS-25 on it for an optic.

I have a TRS-25 waiting for mine too! Good choice!

I also have a Scorpion Optics "Shorty 40" scope that I think will work nicely. It's a compact 3-9x40 scope.
