Cant adjust scope on su16F ? Shooting 24MOA too low even with max adjustment

That you think I need advice on how to zero a scope.

By your last post, you do. You can't effectively zero with one round groups. Zeroing involves both the firearm(and optic) and the ammo being used. One round does not give you any sort of indicator of what the AVERAGE POI will be for said ammo, but good luck with that method.

That's a very wise remark, I had never though about that.

Now maybe we could get back to the original topic of this thread, and you could stop arguing over your 3 shot zero, because honestly I am about to argue with you about shooting into space and see what you tell me.

You can't shoot into space, there isn't enough energy/velocity to propel a bullet outside our atmosphere from the surface.

As for the question at hand, does the OP have pics of the setup??

Here is the pic
PEPR mount isnt that good on the keltec as you don't really need forward positioning. I need to extend my neck too much setup like this.
(I might just position it rearward and mount it a bit forward on the picatiny, will fix the issue....)
A straight mount would be better, but oh well, it still works.

Other than inspecting the mount and remounting it with great scrutiny, I'm inclined to say your receiver is out of spec. You could try another mount as a way of eliminating the mount as the problem.

FWIW, I've found that the ideal distance to zero the SU-16 in at is about 50 yards. Scopes tend to "sit high" on this rifle.

Also and to the OP, have you made sure that your scope is parallel to the barrel? Silly thing to ask, I know, but I sometimes still forget to check that on my own rifles, to this day....(thank goodness for windage-adjustable rings!)

Agree and as per my original post that got lost on page one. Your trying to zero a scope with very limit internal elevation adjustment that's sits very high off the bore at way to short a distance.

Duly noted: I just tend to sight-in at targets out 50 yards, as oppose to 50 metres, but it's all good (esp. as negligible difference, so the essence of the point remains the same) !
