Most people would shim the scope.
That or you could try some of the Burris Zee Rings with the inserts, see if you can't bring it back down to level.

That you think I need advice on how to zero a scope.
By your last post, you do. You can't effectively zero with one round groups. Zeroing involves both the firearm(and optic) and the ammo being used. One round does not give you any sort of indicator of what the AVERAGE POI will be for said ammo, but good luck with that method.

That's a very wise remark, I had never though about that.
Now maybe we could get back to the original topic of this thread, and you could stop arguing over your 3 shot zero, because honestly I am about to argue with you about shooting into space and see what you tell me.
Yup, or swap the rings around, wiggle stuff. The thing about a laser boresighter is you can see what your adjustments and cola cans are doing before you shoot. That or you could try some of the Burris Zee Rings with the inserts, see if you can't bring it back down to level.
You can indeed make a shim from a cola can. Lasers can be visible from the moon, but a lot depends on background light.what do you shim the scope with, cola cans for real?
how far will the laser be visible?
FWIW, I've found that the ideal distance to zero the SU-16 in at is about 50 yards.
Agree and as per my original post that got lost on page one. Your trying to zero a scope with very limit internal elevation adjustment that's sits very high off the bore at way to short a distance.
