Introducing our newest chassis: The MDT LSS (Light Sniper System)

Sorry I guess what I was asking was if there was a possible fore end or grip that could be bolted on so that it would be easier to hold say when you are standing and shooting... other than gripping at the magwell as Stevebot had suggested?
Yes. If you mount a picatinni rail to the bottom, you can attach a fore grip to it.

let me rephrase my question .. :p

Will grips with beaver tails fit the LSS?
Sorry for the misunderstanding. Although the LSS was not designed for it, we did see a number of our customers use the grips with beavertails. It is a tight fit, and we do not recommend it. But it is workable.

Thanks for the clarification!

I ordered a BCM without the tail. Hopefully that will fit good.

Is the Savage chassi still expected to be ready on time ? The wait is killing me.

I hate to say it, but it will probably have some more delays. When it goes out it has to be perfect and we don't want to compromise quality with rushing it....
Will post here once I have a firm date.

Could someone do me a solid and check the backside of their LSS? I have approx 1.5 cm of threading, and maybe 2.75cm total depth until the shoulder or whatever it'd be called. Should it be threaded all the way? I ask because I got the fixed stock adapter, and it's about 2.5 cm long on the threaded portion.

I have failed. I have no castle nut, it's somehow pretty much the only AR part I don't have extra of.

Yes, it is the castle nut that is the issue. The adapter should not screw in all the way; you would not have any room left to tighten the castle nut.

Ah, okay. I just wanted to check.

This rifle gets some long length of pull with the PRS, with the adjustments at zero.
Remington 700 AAC-SD .308 with 20" barrel is 41 1/2" long. Some sort of folding stock adapter would cut that down to about 31".

I just spent a while putting some color into the lettering on the left side of the chassis. Some nice red that really makes it pop. Might as well flaunt it if you've got it, right? Hopefully I'll be able to get a range report next weekend.

Cool stuff, MDT.
