I killed something with my black rifle today

Truthfully I rarely skin mine, usually just huck them in the bush. There such a pain around are area with cattle and such... Over populated. I hunt them with my Tavor as well, such a blast. And to those who say they don't respond during the summer, thats bull#### because I have called in more this summer than I did last winter.

I shot a Polymer AR recently. So your statement is Wrong.
Cheerz .. ~

Thanks tips, I'm aware of the few polymer AR rifles. There is also a wooden AR out there. The vast vast majority are aluminum and that is the original design spec.

I skin them out and sell them but you don't have too. Many farmers in the area are just happy to see them dead. Some of the farmers I talked to have lost farm dogs, cats as well as chickens ,calves ect.. to these varmint. Dont feel bad if you shoot them and leave em.

That's why I hate a lot of hunters they think they are God and can decide faith of animals... I respect hunters, I'm not an hunter, but I think hunting should be done by the rulebook, not by a guy shooting 3 shoots before hitting it's target by luck !

In Alberta it is illegal to let the hide of a fur bearing animal go to waste, according to the hunting regs. So if you hunt em, skin em. If it's for predator control of your farm, toss em in the bush. If you are just shooting them for the sake of shooting them, you are a #### and a poacher. That's a hide that someone else could've made a few bucks on and you are wasting it.

I know what you mean...the last critter I shot I decided it was a Jehovah's Witness. By the way, I seem to have lost my "rulebook", can you send me a copy so I can find out how many "shoots" I can take at a coyote?

Here yotes are essentially unregulated. You need a small game licence, there was talk of some kind of dog seal you would need but I don't know if it ever went through. Most guys like a 223 or 243 for yotes here in the south. I have been using a 6.5 x55 because its my favorite caliber and even with light bullets it flattens them. my next yote gun will probably be a T97 or su16.

Precisely why I picked up a t97 :)

"decide faith of animals"
- you cats are Christians
- you dogs are Rasta
- you coyotes are atheists
.....o_O

Just a tip Sir, probably not wise to come on a hunting related thread and #*#Ă— on hunters.
You knew what it was ..if you don't like the topic...move along.
And for pete's sake when insulting an entire group of people needlessly at least make an attempt at better Engrish ;)..

"If there was dog s### on the sidewalk would you stop and say yuck then proceed to roll around in it while saying how terrible it was.....no you would step around it and move along with your day. Same applies...
Just some advice imho..

And for the original poster..nice little rifle :) and good pics
Tagged for interest
Can't wait to see how the polymer stands up in the cold.....look forward to updates!! :)

Oh god some of you moral elite would have a heart attack if you knew how many gophers and coyotes I've murdered. Im a bad, bad person. I also killed a number of flies and mosquitoes this summer too...need to repent.
For you fellows that are faint of heart, the moral elitists here, I would suggest you not visit this thread as it may get bloody again.

Cheers!!

You truly are a bad bad man. If you are ever in Hamilton look me up and we can go get a beer.

If you dont eat them or use the hide dont kill them my feeling no pride in just a kill. Unless its a safty ishue.

Its not the kill we take pride in, its the skill required to make such a shot. If I could shoot varmints without killing them and thus have the option of shooting them over and over again, I would. Unfortunately the anatomy of animals coupled with the physics of high velocity projectiles makes that a non starter..

Am I on the right site?
Where did all the anti's come from who type like a 13 year old texting their buddy with broken English and no punctuation?

Well done scott_r, do you use an electronic call or a manual one? I've been looking for a nice electric one but haven't been able to bring myself to spend the money on the one I want. I'm hoping to get out to my buddy's farm soon with my HK to help him out with a little predator control, I'll post pics if I'm successful :)

Haha, I was just in Chamberlain last weekend to pick up some dirtbike parts, I should have messaged you and stopped by to do some shooting.

If you live in an area where they're numbers have exploded or they have killed humans, weather you use the hide or whatever... kill a few of them... big deal.

I think it's awesome you smoked one with the SU-16...

Coyote killing a human? Never heard of that. They kill livestock that my friends family depends on for income so I'm more than happy to help them out.
They are becoming a real problem around Edmonton, some dumbsh!t has been feeding them according to the reports on the radio.
Wish I had my HK with me the other day, there was a really mangey one running around in a field on my way into town. Location wasn't the best but it definitely needed to be put down, hardly had any fur left.

I haven't heard of yotes KILLING a person But there have been children mauled by yotes in Oakville Ontario just last year. I know for a fact that yotes will hunt and kill domestic dogs up to the size of full grown boxers. I say shoot enough of them that the remaining ones are good and scared of people.
