This is my latest Grizzly Mag build. Its one ive ALWAYS wanted to do and finally got around to it. Unfortunately, by the time It was done, I needed the $$ for other things so its up for sale. Still, its a darn cool gun and shoots 4X 2 3/4 slugs into a single hole at 25 yards. I was impressed by that accuracy.

Stripped Grizz Mag Receiver:
S&J CQB Kit: (Long 20 inch rail version with high mount stock adapter)
Magpul Stock/tube/nut:
Side sadle/grip/forend: (Not sure of the side saddle brand, holds 6 shells, Grip is an ERGO and the forend is a Magpul MOE)
870 Barrel/breacher choke:
Vortex Red/Gree Strikefire:
Back up irons (From Tavor):

Has anyone considered one of these for an extra mag as opposed to a shell holder?

Ya but they fit like crap on an adjustable stock if you had a a2 stock or a standard stock it might be ok but I just bought pants with pockets instead.

This was mine, then I realized what a unreliable POS it was with 5 different magazines. It sits in pieces in the gun room, where I believe it belongs.

Here's skeet shooting with the Grizzly (and other guns).

Took out all my shotguns and had fun shooting clay pigeons with my buddy. Filmed a bit of it with the high speed camera; I wish I could film at 240 frames per second (or more) in HD, but budget limits the camera.

Guns used:
590A1 #51663
My buddy's 590A1
Remington 870 Wingmaster
Cooey 84 single shot
Grizzly MAG 8.5"

Ammo used:
A little over 500 shells of Challenger 2 3/4" #7.5, 2 3/4 dram equivalent.

Camera:
Casio EX ZR100

How did you get that pistol grip on your 8.5?

I made it from a chunk of aluminum at work and a bit of a broom handle. Going to make a new one that just has a rail at the bottom, because the broom handle looks like arse. Works well though and it's much nicer to shoot with this handle versus the regular front grip. Here's a picture of it closer up, when it had the Browning Buckmark sight; the Grizzly pounded the sight to bits within 100 shells...

Everything was going well until about 75 shells or so. At one point, the sight was knocked off zero. I was like "hunh that's funny". I checked the screws and the base.

Fired a few more shots and the glass just fell out.

WHY WOULD YOU MACHINE THE SHOULDER ON THE INSIDE AND HOLD THE GLASS IN WITH GLUE ON THE OUTSIDE?

God damn it Browning, that's just a stupid design. Machine the shoulder on the outside, where the recoil will push the glass against an actual aluminum shoulder, and have the glue on the inside. That way, recoil won't be pushing against the glue.

What a stupid thing. I'll see what Browning has to say about it.

Ok...since no one else has asked.....why the heck would anyone put a +2 tube mag extension on a mag-fed gun?? Isn't that kinda like putting a big blower scoop on the hood of a stock civic?

So it sits flush with the barrel when the breacher choke is removed and the same reason he has a side saddle on a magfed shotgun......becouse he can.
I personally don't like that gun its way too cluttered and busy and im more of a simple kind a guy but each to their own I guess.
