The magpul PRS is designed to be used with the A2/A1 buffer tube and they don't use a castle nut. I've only ever seen castle nuts used on carbine buffer tubes.

, I see that is MDT's fixed stock adapter you have the PRS attached to. Will the adapter screw in tight and aligned without the castle nut?

We have a large development list. And Ruger American is on it. Just can't give a good timeframe at this point.
Sounds good, somewhere down the road I would like to dress it up proper
Just wondering, I am a little vague on what rifles are compatible with your current and soon to be LSS, is there a list somewhere that clarify that for guys like me who have no idea what rifles are long/short action or specific 4.2" or 4.6" actions?

I have approx 1.5 cm of female threading on the back of the LSS, and maybe 2.75cm total depth until the shoulder or whatever it'd be called. The fixed stock adapter has about 2.5 cm of male threading.
So, you probably could reef on the adapter for that last 1cm, but you would be doing unspeakable things to your threading, and it would probably end up cold welded on there with functionally no margin for error.
I have about 16mm of space between the back of the LSS and the front of the adapter. About 33mm from the back of the LSS to the back of the adapter. That's as thin as I could get it without trapping the wrench between the nut and the adapter. Though, if one were really feeling excitable they could go thinner and just cut the wrench off, but then they'd need a pipe wrench or some kind of bionic wrench that can somehow tighten down to get it's teeth into the slots in the nut if they ever want to take off the adapter.
Just for the sake of measuring stuff, I have about 298mm from the rear of the LSS to the rear of the PRS buttpad.

Are you able to weigh just the original stock??? I ask as I've got a 10PC and want to know if going to this set up will add much more weight.
