I'm an iron sights shooter at heart, i struggle with optics.
Some say its because i haven't had enough time with them and its true. During basic, my C7's Elcan did the job fine but it didn't magnify all that much (3 times i think?) and i didn't stay in the forces long enough to get a ton of range time.
But now i've bought my M305 and altough i've yet to find a scope mount for it that isn't too expensive, and don't know enough to look at scopes at my local gun shop(s).
I bough this rifle as a gift to myself and to get back into shooting sports as well as hunting. Now the areas i hunt in are not very big. The area around the tree stand is between 100 and 200m so i don't need to be able to see a fly's as shole at 1000 yards
I have a 3x9 scope i use on my .22 but i heard that scopes made for rimfire don't handle the recoil of a bigger rifle very well thus i can't use it for that.
Help?
