Help! Sub2000 Problem

Glock-brand Glock 17 mags are pretty hard to find, or stupidly expensive. Any sources for some?

I have noticed it likes running drenched in oil too, whats wrong with the safety? something I should worry about?

If you didn't have the safety problem out of the box, it should most likely be a non-issue for you. I "fixed" mine with a zap strap around the the safety, locking it in the off position because it would engage after every shot.

My s2k had the last round FTE only with the real glock mag that came with it, never did it with the several kci mags I have. Have a bit over a thousand through it now and it has run flawlessly since about round 250

use real glock mags and decent ammo. i was #####ing about mine then replaced the mags and it runs amazingly. also running it soaking wet with oil helps. only problem i have now is the safety...

For mags i've tried 10 differnt glock 10 rounders 5 differnt KCI 10/17 round mags and KCI 10/33round mags all have similar results

For ammo i've tried american egale 115gr and 147gr blazer aluminum 115gr (yes i know it says not to use this ammo in the manuel) speer gold 124gr hps all have stove piped.

last night after posting i gave the rifle and full cleaning will test it shortly with several types of ammo and the same mag as before after that i am unsure if i can return it or exchange it.

round count is about 500

Is the sub 2000 being a finicky gun only for the glock version? Im thinking I want one in beretta but I wont touch one if they are all this prone to ftf and fte.

If you gave to dump 500 rounds through a gun to get it to work half decent then something is wrong with it to begin with imo.

Can't really say how well the sig or berretta versons work as my only personal experience is with the glock magwelled sub2000 and i may just have a lemon. as others and vidoes i've seen dont have any problems with the gun at all.

Put 2 rounds in the mag and try pushing up or forward on the mag as you shoot them if this fixes your problem get back to me and I'll let you know what I did and where I'm at now with mine.
