It's official , 30-06 too small for white tail!!!Magnum as must!!!

Wow there is so much fail in this thread.

This is a comedy post not a factual article that someone wrote. It uses facts about whitetails to dispel the magnum BS through humor.

I cant believe I actually had to explain it.

HOW THE F**K IS MY RIFLE STILL KILLING MOOSE AND DEER?!? ITS A .30-06 MADE IN THE SIXTIES!!! I better get to WSS for the newest super ultra short magnum (what's it called?) And full camo, and one of those Vortex scopes that all the guys on TV got, and take a sniper course, and get some super accurate sniper match ammo so I can shoot a deer at 400 yards cos I won't be able to get any closer than that with the truck.
Nah! I think I'll save the $5000 and just use the same rifle that's been gettin it done since my grandfather bought it new...

I'm hoping that this is just a joke. I may have only been hunting deer for four years both just north of Kingston Ontario and Dunnville Ontario but I have four methods i use. a 12g with sabots in Dunnvile, a crossbow, and north of Kingston I use a small lever 30-30 saddle gun when I'm dogging and a rem 742 30-06 when I'm in a tree stand. I never have a shot more than 200yrds. Ever.

I'm 30 and I've shot 32 deer. Only 1 with a magnum gun (had to take my Ruger 77 338 win mag to the stand once. :p ) The rest have been with slugs, buckshot, .270, 6.8 and muzzleloader.
