Covers the cost of the original deal. Buy the combo, sell the ak for that and you get 3 free guns, and 2300 rounds of ammo for damn near free.

I agree...if the day ever comes that we are allowed own these again I will make sure there is room for one in my safe.

I sold an Ishapore FN FAL that was a recent dewat (not #### and click) a couple of years ago. I took a mint SKS-D with two mags on trade plus IIRC 200 bucks. So there is indeed a market for wall hangers and IMHO these AK74's should fetch 500 bucks pretty easily - maybe even 750, but I really can't see them going for much more than that.

I paid 550 for my romanian mac-90 ak47 with a drum mag and thub hole stock in the early 90's.

I just don't get the reasoning behind prohibiting a Firearm solely based on it's appearance ...the "scary" factor and because of it's historical background as typically a "bad guy" weapon, if the AK-47 or AK-74 was available in Semi and restricted to 5 rounds only then what's the problem?? No use in trying to understand I guess, just the way it is.

Sad but true, the real shame is that the people who get to make these decisions probably do not have a clue about one firearm or another.
